Biography:
Michelle has worked as a registered nurse in various roles for the past 27 years.  Currently, Michelle serves as the Community/ Public Health Officer within the Oneida Comprehensive Health Division. Michelle serves on various boards and committees at the local, regional, and state levels representing the Oneida Nation with important public health efforts. Michelle coordinated efforts that led the Oneida Nation to become the second tribal nation in the country to achieve Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) initial accreditation in 2018 and PHAB reaccreditation in 2024. Michelle’s career passion has been working to support opportunities where everyone can achieve optimal health and wellness and is always excited to talk about the wonderful partnerships that exist among the local/ city, State and Tribal health departments in WI.
