Biography:
Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nursing from Bellin College in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She has worked in various roles as a registered nurse for the past 27 years. Michelle has served the Oneida Nation for 24 years, and is currently the Community/ Public Health Officer with the Oneida Comprehensive Health Division. Michelle’s career passion has been working to support opportunities where everyone can achieve optimal health and wellness. Michelle has served on various boards and committees at the regional and state levels representing the Oneida Nation with important public health efforts. Michelle coordinated efforts that led the Oneida Nation to become the second tribal nation in the country to achieve Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) accreditation.
In her private life, Michelle loves growing gardens during Wisconsin’s outdoor growing season.
