Oneida Nation Earns Home Health Accreditation
In recognition of a deep commitment to delivering high quality patient care, Oneida Comprehensive Health Division (OCHD) is pleased to announce that Oneida Home Health has earned Home Health Accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC). Healthcare organizations who seek accreditation must demonstrate their commitment to a higher level of performance and patient care by participating in a rigorous, official review process.
“We have a dedicated team providing Home Health Services to our clients, and they are a committed group of professionals who provide exceptional service day in and day out,” shared Community Health Manager Brenda Haen, BSN, RN.
Oneida Comprehensive Health Division Director Debra Danforth shared, “I am extremely proud of our Home Health Team for earning this accreditation. The accreditation process is extensive, and only organizations that ‘consistently exceed expectations’ are selected to receive these designations. This accreditation in particular is awarded to healthcare organizations that demonstrate a commitment to quality work, passion for patient care, adherence to superior safety requirements and dedication to healthcare standards.”
Research conducted by the ACHC has shown that organizations holding the Home Health Accreditation display improved patient safety, efficient organizational performance, enhanced patient experience, proven regulatory compliance, an emphasis on interprofessional collaboration and commitment to continuous quality improvement.
“This is an achievement that both our division and the greater Oneida community can be extremely proud of,” added Danforth. “Our providers and staff work in concert with our patients and partners in healthcare to provide compassionate, high-quality care, and it’s great to have that officially recognized.”
