Chronic Wasting Disease – CWD

Oneida Nation is committed to providing safe, convenient disposal options to Oneida Sportsmen. Changing the behavior of disposal of deer carcass waste in the woods or fields is a major factor in containing the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD). The Oneida Conservation Department is providing dumpsters for Oneida Sportsmen to utilize for deer disposal only, during the 2024-25 deer hunting seasons.  The intent is to limit the past hunter practices of deer carcasses left in the field. Limiting contaminated carcasses on the landscape reduces the possible spread of disease.  The following locations have dumpsters available for deer carcass disposal:

Oneida Conservation Field Office:      N8047 County Rd U., Oneida, WI 54155

Oneida One Stop:                                   790 County Rd EE, De Pere, WI 54115
