Director Kaylynn Gresham

Kaylynn Gresham was hired as the Director of Emergency Management on July 19th, 2015.  Before being hired as the Director Kaylynn spent from Feb 2013 until July 2015 as the Acting Director of EM for the Oneida Tribe.  Kaylynn had previously worked as the Deputy Director of EM for Oneida since January of 2008.  Kaylynn started in the Emergency Management Department in June 2007, when she was hired as intern.  During her time as an intern she had the opportunity to gain an in-depth  knowledge base of Emergency Management. Ms. Gresham was then hired as the Deputy Director of Emergency Management on January 27th, 2008.

Kaylynn is currently the Chairwoman of WiTEMA (Wisconsin Tribal Emergency Management Alliance), an active member of WEMA (Wisconsin Emergency Management Association), as well a member of the East Central Regional IMT (Incident Management Team).

Education:

Masters of Science in Criminal Justice Administration; Bachelor of Science in Social Change and Development with an emphasis in Law and Justice; Bachelor of Arts in Communication of the Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design, and a Minor in First Nations Studies.

Specialized Training:

Wisconsin Certified Emergency Manager Certification; 2008 Graduate of Fox Valley Tech. Law Enforcement Academy; Threat Liaison Officer – Department of Homeland Security; Incident Command Systems (ICS) Certified Trainer – ICS100 – ICS400 – FEMA; Incident Management Team-Wisconsin Emergency Management; Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Trainer and CERT Program Manager.
Kaylynn is also a veteran with Active Duty Service in the U.S. Army from 1991-1999 with an honorable discharge.
