Metoxen, Jeff F.

Jeff F. Metoxen, 52, Oneida, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday March 6, 2017. He was born September 26, 1964 to Lida H. (Parkhurst) and the late Roy K. Metoxen. Jeff was a graduate of West De Pere High School and UWGB. He then went on to serve for 5 years for the O.P. D. before being appointed as Chairman of the Gaming Commission for the Oneida Nation, for which he served 9 years. He was currently Director at Tsyunhehkwa. Jeff was an avid comic book collector, Packer fan, golfer, and family man. Jeff really was just an all-around hell of a nice guy with a smile to match.

He is survived by his best friend and lover of over 30 years Tina Pospychala, his son Jeremy Black (grandson Logan Black), and his daughter Iris (fiancé Floyd J. Hill III) Metoxen. Jeff is further survived by his mom Lida H. (Parkhurst) Metoxen, his siblings; Dale R. “Ricky” (Tammy) Metoxen Sr., Lynn M. “Minnie Pearl” Metoxen, Kenneth B. Metoxen, Laurie A. “Lobie” Metoxen, Lyle L. (Laurie) Metoxen, Mitchel R. (Glenda “Dola”) Metoxen, Alphian C. “Al” Metoxen, as well as Tina’s family, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeff was preceded in death by his father Roy K. Metoxen.

Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere after 10:00AM SATURDAY March 11, 2017. The Oneida Hymn Singers will sing at 11:30AM followed by the service at 12:00PM with Vicar Rodger Patience officiating. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family.
