Jonathan A. Jimenez of Green Bay passed away at the age of nine on Monday evening, February 20, 2017, after a life-long battle with a lung disease. The son of Jonathan S. Jimenez and Valerie Santiago was born May 5, 2007 in Chandler, Arizona.

He was given the Oneida name Latunhatsatste?, meaning “He Lives A Strong Life.”

He was an adored little brother to Jocelyn M. Torres. During his time, he touched many lives with his beautiful smile, bright personality and sense of humor.

Jonathan is survived by his parents, Jonathan and Valerie (Robert); his sister, Jocelyn; grandparents, Ramon Jimenez, Blanca Vasquez, Victoria and Gregory Matson; Godparents, Raymond and Edna Jimenez; aunts Debbie Santiago, Aja Isham, uncles Eddie and JoJo Santiago, Brandon Matson; as well as great aunts Tsyoshaaht C. Delgado and Cristina S. Danforth.

He is further survived by special family, whom all are considered aunts and uncles, Marquita, Dana, Bert, Sabrina, Lora, Connie, T and Lauren.

Family and friends may visit at 109 Riverdale Drive, Oneida beginning at 3:00 PM on February 22, 2017. Moccasin game to begin at 10:00 PM. Visitation will continue through the night until 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 23. Burial will follow at Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at King Elementary, St. Vincent Hospital and Cardons Children’s Hospital.
