Connecting people to local farmers and the food they grow

A nice day at the Oneida Farmer's Market

The Oneida Farmer’s Market starts June 21 and is open every Thursday to October 4. The hours are Noon to 6:00pm. It is located at N7332 Water Circle Place near the water tower in Oneida, and is about 6 miles west of Green Bay on Hwy 54.

 The Oneida Farmers Market is designed as an outlet for fruits, vegetables, pre-packages honey and maple syrup and related items, flowers, plants, sweetgrass and other items that are raised or grown and picked by the seller, as well as crafts that are made by the seller.

Farmer's Market Events

June 21     Horse & Wagon rides 1 – 6pm; Youth Planting Contest with plants and seeds
With wooden planters and the kids plant various plants and seeds and take them home

June 28      Youth Planting Contest with plants and seeds

July 12        BASH – OFM – Cherry Bounce playing 3-6pm, Polynesian dancers 1-2pm
TC Hatter
Horse and wagon rides
Polynesian Dancing (Cindy coming from 1pm to 2pm)
Live Music (Cherry Bounce) 3pm to 6pm
Face Painting/Balloon animals
Lawn Dice
Plinko game
Scavenger Hunt with Vendors

July 26            Sports Day – Interactive activities: football kick , football toss BullFrogs-. Timber Rattlers basketball, soccer, Lacrosse, Frenzy Walk

August 16      BASH II – OFM – Dewy, Rockem & Howe playing 3-6pm, demonstrations on Saving harvest techniques-canning, freezing, Dehydration, etc.

August 2         Technology Day – Mindcraft template using agriculture and food, Rocks in my Socks, any other games related to agriculture, food and health.

August 23    Farm to Plate meal with Oneida Nation Film Society – hoping for 50 plates

September 6   Rezurrected Car Show

October 4   Harvest promotions – 10 things to do after harvest (compost, seed save, left over to animals)

 

 

Farmer's Market Bashes

Starts the 3rd Thursday in June  •  Noon – 6 pm

To kick off the Market season we will be having Free horse drawn wagon rides, live music and black ash basket weaving demonstration.

 

July 12
Oneida Farmers’ Market Bash: Noon – 6 pm
Join us for food, fun, Authentic Native American jewelry and crafts and of course fresh produce. At Bash I, there will be live music by ‘Big and Tasty’ from 3pm to 6pm. Face Painting, free balloon animals, scavenger hunt, Plinko, mime and much more, all with great prizes. Free horse drawn wagon rides from 1pm to 6pm

August 16
Oneida Farmers’ Market Bash: Noon – 6 pm
Join us for food, fun, music, Authentic Native American jewelry and crafts and of course fresh produce. At Bash II there will be live music by ‘Dewey, Rockem and Howe’ from 3pm to 6pm. Face Painting, free balloon animals, scavenger hunt, vendor bingo, mime and much more, all with great prizes. There will be Polyensian Dancing from 1pm to 2pm and live music from 3pm – 6pm. Free horse drawn wagon rides from 1pm to 6pm.
