Updated OEFP 5-28-19 Application
Welcome
The Oneida Emergency Food Pantry is a unique service to the Oneida Nation. Voted by GTC in October 2016, the Pantry opened its doors January 2017 to service Community members in need of emergency food help. In the first two years of operation we have distributed 4,256 food packages, Served 561 different families, and 1,641 total clients within those Oneida families.
Donations
All Food Donations are accepted. Non-Perishable items can be set in community bins or dropped directly off at the Pantry. All fresh produce can be dropped directly off Pantry to be stored safely. For large pickups you can call directly at 869-6165 to schedule a pickup time.
How to Apply
Pantry applications are accepted anytime but food will only be distributed on Tuesday and Thursday 11:00AM-1:00PM at the Pantry. True emergencies can be serviced Monday through Thursday 8:00-4:30 depending on the situation.
Four items will be needed to complete application:
1. Oneida Nation Tribal ID
2. Circumstance, Emergency, or Reason your coming for food.
3. Address Verification
4. Last 30 days of income
The last two will not disqualify you from receiving services but proof of income will give you longer certification periods.
*Intake procedures subject to change based on community needs and program direction*
