From an early age, Stephenie cultivated a passion for the arts and her cultural heritage, deeply rooted in her family and Oneida traditions. She learned valuable skills from her grandmother, Evadna Muscavitch, and other mentors: sewing, corn husk doll making, silversmithing, raised beadwork, computer graphics, quilting, and pottery. Her artistic journey has been enriched by the guidance of talented individuals such as Budgie Manders, Coleen Bins, Anita Barber, Jennifer Stevens, Pete Jones, Brenda Hill, Natasha Santiago Smoke, Sheldon Gibson, Dan Hill, and Steven Christjohn and numerous community culture bearers.
As a dedicated maker and sharer, Stephenie now channels her talents into fostering a deeper understanding and sustaining the Oneida culture, drawing inspiration from the profound power of family. She treasures her husband and children, with the intention of nurturing love, peace, and a sense of connectedness among all.
