Minor Home Repair
This service provides low cost minor home repair to Oneida elders age 70+ that own and are living in their home. The provision of service is dependent upon health and safety concerns. Elders ages 55-69 may receive assistance, but elders must purchase materials prior to any repairs.
Service area: Brown & Outagamie Counties within the Oneida Nation Reservation.
Major Home Repair
This service provides major home repair with a lifetime maximum of $10,000. Repairs are prioritized based on health and safety concerns.
Eligibility:
- Must be Oneida enrolled;
- Elders 65 and older;
- Individuals 18-64 with a documented disability;
- Annual Income at or below 250% FPL:
- 1 person = $33,975
- 2 people = $45,775
- Must have owned the home for the last 5 years;
- Must have home owner’s insurance;
- Must reside at the home under repair.
NOTE: Elders that cannot currently be served due to funding issues will be placed on the waiting list.
