I have been in the social work field since 2004, and in the substance abuse specialty since 2007. I began my career as an advocate for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, and then a few years as a Crisis Counselor at the Crisis Center of Family Services. I was fortunate to spend 8 years counseling and managing the Residential treatment program at the Jackie Nitschke Center before coming to Oneida Behavioral Health.
I am blessed to have a spouse and dog that I love and adore. I enjoy laughter, spoiling my nieces and nephews, doing various crafts, reading, spending time with family, listening to music, engaging in activities that help me grow in my faith, and trying to live by the saying “Be the change you wish to see in the world” (Gandhi).
