Group Fitness

Fitness ClassesJoin us for one of our many FREE group fitness classes.  We offer a variety of classes from low impact to high impact for all ages and abilities to motivate and inspire you to achieve your fitness goals!

Classes offered:  Lively low impact, Yoga, Spin, Cardio Kickboxing, Cardio Sculpt, Rock Bottom, Total Body Shred, Core & Strength.

Aquatics

The Pool & All Locker Rooms will be CLOSED due to construction.

 

Our Aquatics area offers adult/family swim, lap swimming, and a variety of water aerobic classes that are FREE with your membership! 

Our Pool is 20 yards in length and depth ranges from 3 3/4′ – 5′ deep. 

Average water temperature is 86-88 degrees.

 

Martial Arts

Master Kevin Schoenebeck brings to Oneida Martial Art students 40+ years of experience and is a 8th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.  Masirib Guro in Inayan Eskrima: Sinawalis/Dequardas, Serrado, Larga Mano, Kadena De Mano.  He holds a Sensei title in Danzan Ryu Ju Jitsu and is a Certified instructor in Yang Style Tai Chi.

MARTIAL ARTS PROGRAMS AVAILABLE

MIGHTY NINJAS

This program is for ages 4-5 only. It gives the young student the opportunity to experience the benefits of Tae Kwon Do in an age appropriate format.

Thursday, January 9 – February 6 (6 weeks)
$30.00 for O.F.F. Members and $60 for Non-O.F.F. Members

TAE KWON DO

This is a great family activity; for men, woman and children ages 6 and older. Tae Kwon Do is a great physical exercise and a way an individual can develop self confidence, self discipline and respect for others. Tae Kwon Do uses hand and feet techniques in methods of self defense.

Monday, January 6 – February 10 (6 weeks)
$30.00 for O.F.F. Members and $60 for Non-O.F.F. Members

ESKRIMA This program is for ages 12 and older.
This class is exciting for those interested in studying weapons and weapon defense techniques. It will provide the student with fundamental concepts and utilization of double sticks, single stick and hand-to-hand and knife disarms.
JU JITSU This program is for ages 12 and older. 
This class is a physically demanding class which takes place on the mat. It’s grappling technique are the ultimate in self defense on the ground. The class instructs current throwing and falling techniques, as well as submission holds and locks and counters to submission holds and locks. 
TAI CHI The program is performed slowly with focus on breathing, balance and stances. Tai Chi stimulates health & improves muscles tone while balance, energy and metabolism.

RAS (Employee Health Initiatves)

2020 Reasonable Alternative Standard (RAS) Program is available to Oneida health plan participants to improve their health and achieve reduced rates on weekly health insurance premiums.

Oneida Family Fitness RAS offerings:
Fitness Center usage

(see front desk staff for a print out of check in history)

     Check in 10x a month = 4 RAS points

A minimum of 20 minutes of physical activity per visit
Check-ins must be 2 hours apart, 2 check-ins per day
Max 4 points per month
