ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE AND COMPLIANCE PROGRAM
Environmental Response
- Addresses non-emergency releases of hazardous and regulated materials to the environment
- Maintain a listing of sites where actions have been taken
- Keep a public record of response actions. The Public Record can be viewed here.
- Conduct oversight and enforcement of response actions
- Verify that response actions are appropriate and compete
- Conduct environmental impact reviews on planned actions

Compliance Assistance
- Provides compliance assistance to owners and operators of gas stations within the Oneida Reservation
- Conduct federal inspections at gas stations on the Oneida Reservation
- Assist when able, other Tribes with gas station compliance concerns

Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste Disposal
- Manages Hazardous and Electronic Waste Disposal Voucher Program, members can apply for a voucher to dispose of their electronics, hazardous waste, old paints, lawn chemicals, waste oil at the Brown County Hazardous Material Recovery Facility.
- Small corded electronics such as lamps, toys, fans, etc. can be disposed of in your regular trash.

Drivers must remain in vehicles and hazardous materials must be in the back end of the vehicle (trunk, lift gate or truck bed).
