ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE AND COMPLIANCE PROGRAM

Environmental Response

• Addresses non-emergency releases of hazardous and regulated materials to the environment
• Maintain a listing of sites where actions have been taken
• Keep a public record of response actions. The Public Record can be viewed here.
• Conduct oversight and enforcement of response actions
• Verify that response actions are appropriate and compete
• Conduct environmental impact reviews on planned actions

Compliance Assistance

• Provides compliance assistance to owners and operators of gas stations within the Oneida Reservation
• Conduct federal inspections at gas stations on the Oneida Reservation
• Assist when able, other Tribes with gas station compliance concerns

Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste Disposal

• Manages Hazardous and Electronic Waste Disposal Voucher Program, members can apply for a voucher to dispose of their electronics, hazardous waste, old paints, lawn chemicals, waste oil at the Brown County Hazardous Material Recovery Facility.
  • Small corded electronics such as lamps, toys, fans, etc. can be disposed of in your regular trash.

Location:  2561 S. Broadway | Green Bay, WI 54304

• • Hours of Operation
    • Tuesday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
    • Thursday: noon – 6:00 pm
    • Observed holidays the facility is CLOSED.

Drivers must remain in vehicles and hazardous materials must be in the back end of the vehicle (trunk, lift gate or truck bed).
