Trial Court

Welcome to the Trial Court. The Trial Court is the court that administers the judicial authorities and responsibilities of the Oneida Nation in Wisconsin as a sovereign nation. The court is tasked with:

• Providing for the administration of law, justice, judicial procedures and practices by the Oneida Nation
• Exercising the inherent power to apply and enforce Oneida law, as well as our own customs and traditions in matters affecting Oneida people and others coming within the jurisdiction of the court
• Providing a knowledgeable, fair, and impartial forum for the resolution of all matters that come before the court
• Supporting a separation of tribal governmental powers.
