Oneida Community Health Services – Population-Based Programming is holding car seat installation and education clinics! Please see the flyer for the dates, times, and location. After scheduling your appointment, a staff member will reach out and inform you of the exact cash required for your payment.

Sign up for the Food Forest Design Workshop with Forestry Student Alyssa Rooks. Taste snacks, ask questions, and design a food forest on Weds. August 26 at 12PM or Thurs. August 27 at 5:30PM. To register, call the Library at 920.869.2210.


Back to School 8/13: Join us for our annual Back to School event TOMORROW! Oneida Nation Elementary School 4:00 – 6:00 pm. There will be a select amount of backpacks pre-filled with various school supplies while the rest of our backpacks will be empty (clear backpacks available!). Other resource tables at our event will have school supplies for you to take as needed. Don’t forget about face painting, the bounce house, We Lit Photobooth, and treats on your way out! Please join us in August for the monthly Support Group, featuring dementia-friendly activity designed for you and your loved one to enjoy together while creating meaningful and lasting memories. Light snack and beverages provided. Oneida Aging and Disability THIS FRIDAY 1pm-3pm, no phone calls needed just stop on by with any items you would like decorated. Can’t wait see you all then!


The Oneida Farmers Market Bash is on August 20. Besides the usual Farmer Market vendors, we have the REZurrected Ridez car show, Horse and Wagon Rides, Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, a DJ, and Carl Hogue (the Snake Dude). Also, Mad Dog and Merrill will be taping their Midwest Grill’n show on site. Everything is free to the public.  Overflow customer parking will be available on the west end of the Hwy 54 One Stop parking lot (please park on the west side of the car wash).

The Community Resource Center is fortunate to receive another opportunity to distribute an additional 12 laptops to our community members in need. You must qualify by answering yes to one of the eligibility requirement questions. Apply using link: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/L2xJtRLsvS Please note if you do not respond with 300-500 words you will be screened out. These are refurbished laptops in great condition, equipped with Microsoft Office Suite and warranty through an organization Human IT.

Community Health Population-Based Programming invites the public to attend the unveiling of “The Creators Game, Then, Now, and Forward- Carriers of the First Medicine – Mural.” Please join us on Thursday, August 13th at 3:30pm at Norbert Hill Center, to the far right of the building facing Seminary Road – where the 4 garages are bricked in. This mural was created in partnership with Oneida artist Scott Hill, Oneida youth artists, community members, and various Oneida staff! This community event will include smudging. Wisconsin Governor’s Newly Declared Wild Rice Week is the first week in September! Gather the kids to celebrate, see flyer for details. Oneida Nation Arts Program & Oneida Community Library collaborates to offer Children’s Book Reading & Tasting Events. Registration is separate for each day and location, and books are limited to 1 per family.
