Taryn brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to leadership, along with a strong commitment to innovation, sustainability, and community. Her vision aligns seamlessly with the Oneida Nation’s long-term goals and our continued growth as a premier destination in gaming and hospitality.
Taryn joins Oneida Casino Hotel with more than 23 years of progressive leadership experience in tribal gaming and hospitality. Most recently, she served as Corporate Director of Casino Games for Gila River Resorts & Casinos, where she led enterprise-wide gaming strategy across multiple properties. In addition, she brings valuable regulatory and governance expertise from her role as Executive Director of the Oneida Nation Gaming Commission, where she oversaw licensing, compliance, and regulatory operations.
Beyond her professional experience, Taryn is deeply connected to the Oneida Nation and its mission. She understands the responsibility that comes with this role—not only to drive operational success, but to ensure that our enterprises continue to positively impact our people, culture, and future generations.
As CEO, Taryn will focus on the following priorities:
- Driving innovation that enhances the guest experience while supporting team member engagement and operational excellence.
- Developing strong succession plans aligned with the Oneida Nation’s mission, ensuring leadership continuity and long-term sustainability.
- Showcasing the Oneida Nation’s resources and accomplishments, including cultural experiences at the Oneida Nation Museum and opportunities highlighting the Oneida Cannery.
- Building and strengthening regional relationships to expand awareness and visibility, positioning Oneida Casino Hotel as a premier destination for entertainment, hospitality, and cultural connection.
