Attached is some information/ education of what to do if flood waters breach your home.

CHD Residential Rentals – Multi-Family Townhouse Apartments

Residential Rentals has reached out to tenants residing at the Multi-Family Townhouse Apartments on Red Willow Parkway.  We encouraged tenants to evacuate their unit based on precaution and safety.  We informed them they could receive hotel cost reimbursement through Community Support.  A total of eight tenants were contacted with only a few looking to evacuate, while others thanked us for the information.

CHD Residential Rentals – Chief Hill Drive

Residential Rentals reached out to households residing in 4-5 duplexes on the west side of Chief Hill Drive that have been subject to backyard flooding due to an incomplete residential infrastructure project for Cattail Marsh Neighborhood.  Water has not made it way to the units thanks to CHD Maintenance pumping the pooled water from the flooded area into the storm water management system on Chief Hill Drive.  Storage shed are flooded and likely in need of replacement in the near future.

The water has receded 8-12 inches in both areas and is under control. Continuous water pumping efforts are continuing to ensure that water levels do not rise.

Stay away from moving water, current is very strong. Do not drive through standing/running water and do not drive through or around barricades.
