Cantu, Carlos Gene

General

Carlos Gene Cantu peacefully and quietly began his journey to the spirit world on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the age of 33 after several months of medical complications.

Carlos is survived by his mother, Sue (Antonio) Martinez, and his father, Jose Cantu, and Simone’s father, Roger Diamond Jr. He is further survived by his three brothers, Gustavo, Alejandro, and Jorge and his loving and favorite sister Gracey, his paternal grandmother, Ruth Garza and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Also surviving Carlos is his soulmate and love of his life, Simone Diamond and their children, Geno, twin daughters, Alize and Aliza. After the birth of their twins, Carlos stayed at home to care for the twins for a year and a half. Carlos was also blessed with his first-born daughter, Angelina. In addition to loving and honoring Simone and their children, Carlos enjoyed extending his love to his family through cooking and baking. In January of 2020 with heart felt happiness and pride he made his first batch of traditional “Hoyan” doughnuts for his family. Carlos loved his Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed fishing and socializing with all his family and friends and had some very special relationships with cousins Jacob Ventura, Robert Cantu, and Ray Zuniga.

In the spirit world, Carlos will reunite with his maternal Grandparents Nick and Mary Metoxen, paternal grandfather, Jose Cantu Sr, Simone’s mother, Tammie Lou (Diamond) Zinda and a few cousins who perished ahead of him.

The family of Carlos Cantu offers our sincere appreciation to all the Health Care Workers and Medical Professionals, God chooses special persons like you to deliver compassionate care to persons when they fall ill. God bless everyone of you in Green Bay and Manitowoc.
