The Oneida Nation is a sovereign that has jurisdiction over Oneida operations and businesses. Under the Nation’s jurisdiction, there is currently a Safer at Home Declaration in effect through May 12th. Today, the Nation updated the Safer at Home declaration to give further guidance relating to essential businesses and the expectations for operations and businesses to safely reopen while prioritizing the health and safety of employees and customers. Under the Nation’s updated declaration, Thornberry Creek at Oneida and Hidden Valley Driving range can open for business.
The Nation’s leadership along with our Public Health Officer will continue to evaluate and monitor the statistics of the COVID-19 pandemic on a daily basis to determine whether or not, it is in the Nation’s citizen and community’s best interest to extend the declaration in the coming weeks.
