Lawrence Henry Elm, age 78 of Vacaville, CA, went to be with Jesus on Friday, November 2, 2018. Born on February 19, 1940, in Tomah, WI, to Mitchell and Bertha Elm. He was the second oldest of eleven children.
Lawrence was a Native American with the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin. After graduating from Pulaski High School in 1959, he joined the Air Force. He proudly served for 20 years. When he retired, he went to work for the Chevron Refinery in Richmond, CA for 23 years. After fully retiring, he enjoyed traveling with his family.
Lawrence is survived by: his wife, Evelyn Jane, his children, Debra Mott (Jon), Dennis (Kim) & Diana, many loving grandchildren & great grandchildren, dog Sister, and his beloved cat Dreamer. He was loved by: his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Lawrence’s interment was held on November 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. with full military honors, at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA, 95620. The Celebration of Lawrence’s Life was held at The Refuge Church, 2601-C Nut Tree Rd, Vacaville, CA, 95687, on November 17, 2018 at 3 p.m.
