The GTC took action on October 2, 2016, to create an Emergency Food Pantry in 45 days. The Oneida Business Committee (OBC) and various departments have been working diligently to fulfill this requirement. Yet, we had to face the reality that opening a business in 45 days was not realistic or logistically possible. Additional research needed to be completed in order to create a successful and fully operating Food Pantry.
After months of hard work and planning, the Oneida Emergency Food Pantry is now open. The Pantry officially opened its doors on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. The Pantry will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Richard Elm-Hill was hired as the Manager at the Pantry. He is responsible for the management and operation of the Oneida Emergency Food Pantry. He can be reached at (920) 869-6165 or relmhill@oneidanation.org.
