Luke “Junior” Stevens Jr. 91, Oneida, passed away early Sunday morning, June 5, 2016. Junior was born July 2, 1924 to the late Luke (Elizabeth Smith) Stevens Sr. Luke proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the Robert Cornelius Post #7784 of the VFW. Junior had worked at Leicht Transport for many years, and enjoyed gambling.

He is survived by one brother as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and his good friends the Don Wishart family.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings; Pete (Marcella) Powless, Abraham Stevens, John (Lois) Stevens, Israel (Phyllis) Stevens, George (Delores) Stevens, Evelyn (Bill) Doucet, Mary (Louis) Webster, Hazel (Robert) Jordan, Phoebe (Redman) John, and Noreen Wilber.

Friends amy call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere from 5 – 7pm (TODAY) on Tuesday June 7, 2016. The Oneida Hymn Singers will sing at 6:30pm. Visitation will continue after 10:00am Wednesday at Oneida Methodist Church, until time of service at 11:00am with Pastor Ann Bullis officiating. Full military honors will be accorded to Junior following the service. The Oneida Hymn Singers will sing at church starting at 10:30am.
