Jumpstart College Day is UWO partnering with the Universities of Wisconsin to help students submit their applications as early as possible and make it a simple process.
Event/Registration Information
On Thursday, August 1 from 3:00-6:00 pm, UWO will be helping students fill out applications for any UW School they are interested in. While we may not be able to provide specifics for every school, we will help them understand how the application works, provide helpful tips, and there will be giveaways!
If students want to get a college decision on Day 1, they can do that at UWO. If they apply to UWO, we can give them an On-Site Admission Decision that day (as long as they bring a copy of their unofficial transcript). If they say want to apply to schools that might not take direct admit like Madison, La Crosse & Eau Claire, we can help answer functional questions about the application and get it submitted as soon as possible. Opinion based questions would be best for representatives of those universities.
Our goal is to help students apply early, so they have more time to make a decision and know what they need to succeed wherever they go. If they decide to come to UWO, that is a bonus for us, but we are just grateful that they are considering going to Higher Education and want to assist them in that process.
