PROVIDER BIO:
I have been in the AODA since 2013. I have experience working with both youth and adults. I have worked as an outpatient counselor, as a juvenile justice case worker and as a social worker/AODA counselor within the Wisconsin Prison System.

My therapeutic approach is to work holistically with my clients utilizing a variety of techniques such as, trauma-focused, motivational interviewing and cognitive-focused therapies.

My husband and I have been together for 16 years and have two amazing boys together, with the oldest racing motorcycles and the youngest playing soccer. Their sports fill most of our free time and we spend a lot of time traveling to their events, spending many weekends in our camper.  We have a beautiful circle of friends and family that we love to spend time with. We also enjoy traveling, exploring, hiking, working out together and generally living life to the fullest. Our Rottweiler, Thor, is a very important part of our family and comes everywhere with us.

A few of my favorite things are coffee, books, psychological-thriller TV series and candles.
