Three New Providers Join OCHD

Oneida Comprehensive Health Division (OCHD) is excited to welcome three new providers to its team: Alan James, Margaret (Maggie) Hujet, and Ken Sakamoto. Their combined expertise will contribute to enhancing patient care and improving access to essential services for the Oneida Nation and surrounding communities.

Alan James, specializing in Internal Medicine and Allergy & Immunology, joins the Medical Clinic team. A graduate of the West Virginia School of Medicine, Alan completed his residency and fellowships at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY. He is board-certified in Allergy and Immunology and board-eligible in Internal Medicine.

Maggie Hujet, a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 15 years of experience in emergency medicine, brings her expertise to OCHD. Maggie completed the Physician Assistant program at UW-Madison and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She emphasizes patient-centered care, working closely with patients and families to meet their healthcare needs.

Ken Sakamoto, DDS joins OCHD’s Dental team. A native of Chicago, Ken earned his BS in Biology from Loyola University of Chicago and his DDS from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Chicago Dental Society (CDS). Ken is excited about this new chapter of working at the Oneida Community Health Center.
