Sue believes in recovery. Recovery from substance use, recovery from emotional dysregulation, recovery from loss, recovery from chronic pain. She is a person-centered therapist and a good listener.

Sue has experience working in areas including: substance use; mental health; tobacco reduction/help to quit; grief and loss; elders/older adults; trauma; depression; anxiety; bipolar; obsessive-compulsive disorder; hoarding; insomnia; couples therapy; family members impacted by substance use; gambling; impulsive behaviors; self-esteem, hopelessness; abandonment, forgiveness; legal issues; recovery/relapse prevention; chronic pain/illness; medical trauma; spirituality; motivational interviewing; supportive therapy; person centered/solution-focused therapy; dialectical behavior therapy (DBT); case management; and crisis work. She has worked in residential levels of care for substance use and mental health. She worked for many years facilitating intensive outpatient and aftercare groups.

Sue and her husband are proud parents to six children and have two grandchildren and a large extended family. Spending time with our family is their main priority. When time allows, they love live music and supporting local musicians.
