The six counties that make up southeast Wisconsin: Milwaukee, Kenosha, Racine, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha.

Overview

SEOTS is a satellite office serving Oneida Nation tribal members living in southeastern Wisconsin. The priority of improving wellness outcomes for the community is accomplished through community education and connection to quality programs and services.

Providing a connection to Oneida culture is a significant component of programming. Some of the offerings are trips to Oneida, Oneida language classes, Oneida culture presentations and art classes.

Additionally, SEOTS realizes the importance of bringing the community together. During the year community events are provided for socialization, community organization, education and recreation.

Services

Southeastern Oneida Tribal Services was established in 1983 to provide services to all Tribal members in the six counties of southeastern Wisconsin. Today, approximately 2,000 Tribal members reside within the six (6) counties that make up southeast Wisconsin: Milwaukee, Kenosha, Racine, Ozaukee, Washington, and Waukesha. SEOTS Garden Club The SEOTS Garden Club will consists of tasks needed to maintain and sustain the community garden (weeding, watering, planting, etc). The garden club will also consist of various workshops! Every Wednesday in July and August Click here to view flyer
SEOTS Language Club The SEOTS Language Club allows participants to utilize SEOTS space and materials for their study and practice needs of the Oneida Language! Staff will be available to assist with study needs. Every other Wednesday beginning June 11th, 1:30-3:30pm Click here to view flyer
SEOTS Craft Circle Gather together and create your own crafts. You can start a project, or bring one to finish. SEOTS will have a limited amount of supplies available.  Every Thursday 1:30-3:30pm Click here to view flyer

Elder Lunch Presentation

Anni from Ignace will provide a brief presentation on nutrition, including learning about the different minerals in your daily diet. Food and bingo provided.

Turtle Canvas Painting Class

Oneida instructor Andrea Baird will be teaching about the turtle clan and instructing a turtle canvas painting. Cost $10, open to all. Limited spots available.

Tribal ID’s at SEOTS

Trust Enrollments will be at SEOTS July 11th approximately 9am-4:30pm. Members under 55 years of age $5, members 55 and older $2, children under 18 must have a parent with them. Trust enrollments will take tribal id photos, and then mail the ideas out after completion.

Cultural Heritage Day at SEOTS- Green Corn Ceremony

Oneida Nation Cultural Heritage staff will be at SEOTS providing storytelling and activities on the Green Corn Ceremony. Lunch will be served at 12pm, with activities to follow. Please call to RSVP.
