I worked as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at West Virginia University Hospitals then at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. This was followed by High Risk Labor and Delivery nursing at UNC Chapel Hill, NC. I was a Director of Patient Services in Women’s Health at a hospital in Winchester Virginia for five years before becoming a Nurse Practitioner. I will have been at the Oneida Community Health Center for twenty years October, 2014 and it has been a blessing. My goal has always been to give my patients a comfortable environment to have their needs expressed and met and to encourage preventative measures for a healthier lifestyle. When not at work, I spend time with my family and enjoy traveling, cooking, gardening and the arts.
