Oneida Emergency Rental/Utility Assistance Program
In order to qualify for the Oneida Emergency Rental/Utility Assistance Program, you must meet the following criteria and submit the required verification with the online application.
Qualifying Criteria
- An enrolled Oneida Tribal Member or Oneida Descendent living in the United States
- Non-Tribal member living within the Oneida reservation boundaries.
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid lease
- Suffered impacts due to COVID related issue(s)
- Income must be below 80% of the median income of their residential county.
Required verifications:
- Tribal ID or Descendancy Certification or Valid State Identification
- Current Utility bill
- Dated within the last 30 days
- Proof of all household income for the last 30 days
- TANF/W2, pay stubs, unemployment, SSI, SSDI, Disability payment, workman’s compensation, child support, alimony, veteran’s benefits, self-employment, etc.
- Current Lease Agreement
- Documentation of Covid related disruption in the household.
- Rental itemization showing past rent owed, arrears, penalties, interest if applicable
