Grounds Keeping Highlights
Daily logs have been revised to better reflect and track the work, mileage, and equipment being used on a daily basis.
Equipment Maintenance log has been developed to keep track of all preventative maintenance and repairs being made on each piece of equipment.
Work Orders are now being processed through the Archibus system to assist with tracking of request for work that are outside the normal working schedule.
Challenges are the snow and ice removal during this time of year. Not all winter storms are the same, and this holds true for this winter season.
Accomplishments seem to be small, but in reality they are huge when it comes to accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness. Our department is proud of the fact that there have been no major accidents or injuries within the Grounds Keeping Department.
