OCHD Family Nurse Practitioner Earns New Credentials
Oneida Comprehensive Health Division (OCHD) is proud to announce that Candice Crabb, a family nurse practitioner, has earned her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) credential. The certification demonstrates her commitment to providing comprehensive care for her patients, combining expertise in family practice with an expanded focus on mental health and overall well-being.
Crabb pursued the credential to help her provide more holistic care and improved support for patients navigating complex health concerns. Her complete credentials now include:
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP)
- Family Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified (FNP-BC)
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified (PMHNP-BC)
Crabb also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
Before her role as an FNP, Crabb worked as an inpatient RN for seven years on a medical/surgical/cardiac unit. Outside of her clinical work, she serves as an adjunct faculty member at Bellin College, where she works predominantly with FNP students.
“We celebrate Candice’s initiative in securing her PMHNP-BC credentials and are extremely proud of her commitment to her patients,” said Division Director Deb Danforth. “Since joining the Oneida community in 2017, she has made a positive impact in her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner.”
