Honoring a Generous Gift to Our Library Collection

Library

The Oneida Community Library is thrilled to share some exciting news! Recently, we received an extraordinary donation from Richard Gonzalez, 286 items valued at $6,661.92, all focused on Native American history, culture, and heritage.

What makes this gift so special is that every single title was new to our collection. These resources fill important gaps and bring fresh perspectives that will benefit our community for generations. From historical accounts to cultural studies, these materials will serve as invaluable tools for education, research, and language revitalization.

Richard’s generosity strengthens our mission to preserve and share Native knowledge. These items will not only enrich our shelves but also support upcoming programs designed to celebrate and teach Oneida language and culture.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Richard Gonzalez for his commitment to cultural preservation and for helping us build a stronger, more vibrant library collection.

Stop by the library soon to explore these new additions! We can’t wait to share them with you!
