Woodland Indian Art Inc., will be hosting its 19th annual Woodland Indian Art Show and Market (WIASM), at the Oneida Casino Hotel in the Three Clans Conference Center this weekend.
We invite all employees, community members and anyone who appreciates and is interested in Woodland art to attend and meet the artists who create and will be selling their art. We have a number of new artists this year, from Minnesota, Nebraska and other states.
The hours of the art show are 10 AM to 5 PM on both Saturday and Sunday (11/22 and 11/23).
There is No Admission.
In addition to the Art Market, we will be hosting the following performances:
Saturday – Oneida Hymn Singers – 11AM
Saturday – Indigenous Fashion Show – 1:30
Sunday – Book reading with Q&A – Rick Church – 11AM
Sunday – Youth fashion show – 1PM – 1:45PM
This is a great opportunity to meet the artists and get a start on your holiday shopping.

Mending the Disconnect with Food: An Oneida Food Sovereignty Initiative’, presents it’s final “Food is Medicine” workshop of the year. The workshop, titled “The Table we Forgot: Reclaiming the Tradition that Once Held us Together”, is taking place on Thursday, December 18, from 5:30 to 7:30, and limited to 12 adults. To give everyone a fair chance to join us, priority registration will go to community members who have not attended a “food is medicine” event within the past three months.
