Discover Green Bay, formerly known as the Green Bay Visitor’s and Convention Bureau, hosted a ribbon cutting today for the new Visitor’s Center that has been built. This center will host the staff from Discover Green Bay and also have space for Oneida Tourism.
Several years ago, the Nation invested $1.5 million in this center and heavily advocated for additional funding for the center with the WI State Legislature and the Governor. Over $800 million in tourism dollars come to this region and the Nation works directly with Discover Green Bay to bring some of those monies in to our community and to our destinations. The community partnerships realized from this endeavor have been beneficial to the Nation.
