The Oneida Business Committee took action Wednesday, June 9, 2021 to update the Face Mask Protocol for the Oneida Nation.
Effective, Monday, June 14, 2021 at 8:00 a.m., fully vaccinated individuals are exempt from masking, except in Comprehensive Health Services, Anna John Resident Centered Care, Aging and Disability Resource Services. There may be additional programs that determine face masking remains necessary to protect the health, safety and welfare of its employees, customers and clients.
Unvaccinated individuals are required to continue to mask in all indoor environments.
All Oneida Nation Operations shall utilize the best practices in alignment with the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Indoor Activities
Masking required: All employees, patients and visitors of the Oneida Comprehensive Health Services, Anna John Resident Centered Care Community, and Aging and Disability Service Programs shall continue to be required to wear masks.
Masking optional: Employees and all other persons are no longer required to wear face masks if fully vaccinated. However, all programs and enterprise shall allow employees to wear a face masks if they wish to continue during the public health state of emergency.
The Oneida Public Health Officer remains authorized under Oneida Emergency Management to issue an updated face mask order or other health order in the event a change in the rate of positive COVID-19 cases arises.
