The Oneida Business Committee in collaboration with the Oneida Police Department and Emergency Management have determined it is in the best interest to public safety to cancel the General Tribal Council Meeting scheduled for Sunday, February 24, 2019.
The Business Committee and Emergency Management have been briefed by the National Weather Service. A wintry mix, along with strong winds, which will cause ice conditions on roads, parking lots, and walk ways.
After reviewing the agenda, the Business Committee has determined there isn’t anything on the agenda that is detrimental to the health safety and welfare of the Oneida Nation at this time and can be delayed to assure safe travel for all meeting attendees.
This meeting is rescheduled to Sunday, March 17th, 10:00 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center.
