Governor Evers has declared a State of Emergency in Wisconsin. The Oneida Business Committee in collaboration with the Oneida Police Department and Emergency Management have made a decision in the best interest of our employees and clientele.
Due to the extreme weather conditions, the Oneida Nation programs and services are closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 30th. This includes the Oneida Health Center, Behavioral Health, Oneida Transit, Oneida Childcare and the school systems and Elder Meal Site.
Changes to Thursday may still occur, please check your electronic communication devices or call your supervisor before you venture out. If the decision to delay opening Thursday occurs, it will be posted on our Facebook, Website and A-Z Outlook before noon Wednesday. We do notify the local television stations, however they usually post on their websites, not on the air, except for school closings.
This does not include the Anna John Residential Care Center and, Oneida Police Department.
