Harris, Annette

Annette “Nettie” R. Harris passed away Friday night, June 22, 2018. She was born January 20, 1968 in Milwaukee, WI a daughter of the late John “Chummy” Silas and Darlene (Summers) Neconish. On October 3, 2015 Nettie married Dushun Harris in Milwaukee at her sister’s home.

Nettie studied the culinary arts and became a private chef. She loved being a hostess whether she was cooking the food or serving up delicious drinks. Nettie had a great sense of humor and she was truly loved by everyone.

Annette… is survived by her husband Dushun Harris; daughter Rebecka Silas; grandchildren: Enrique, Elorah, Corey, Daniel, and Diego; her siblings: John (Angela) Old Coyote, Julie (Darryl) Doxtator, Thomas (April) Old Coyote, Barbara (Clint) Hayne, Juana (Byron) Williams, and Jeff Silas, Sr.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her son Corey Lee Silas; and her parents John “Chummy Silas and Darlene Neconish.

Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Please visit www.ryanfh.com to send a condolence to Nettie’s family.
