Sherry Jeanine (Silas) Honaker, 63, of Green Bay, WI, passed away on October 25, 2017, surrounded by her family. Born in Wauwatosa, WI, on August 12, 1954 to John Floyd Sr. and Marilyn Silas, Sherry was the oldest daughter of seven children.
Growing up, Sherry played a huge role in raising her siblings. She eventually decided to have a family of her own, and married the love of her life Ronald Eugene Honaker in 1976. They had two children together, Tasha and John. Later in life Sherry enjoyed spending time with her family, which included nine grandchildren, many great nieces and nephews, and countless others who referred to her as Grandma Sherry. She also enjoyed other activities such as going to the casino, crocheting, and watching her favorite shows, such as Perry Mason and The Big Bang Theory.
Sherry is survived by her children Tasha Honaker Santiago and John (Coral) Honaker; Her grandchildren Clorissa (Bradley) Santiago, Roni (Matthew) Honaker, Amanda Santiago, Christopher Honaker, Jonathan Honaker, Brennan Honaker, Tyler Honaker, Cooper Honaker, and Piper Honaker; Her siblings Wayne (Estelle) Silas, Frank Grignon, and Pamala (Vincent Romero) Silas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Honaker; Her parents John Floyd Sr. and Marilyn Silas; her siblings Ronald Silas, Michael Silas, and Mary Lynn Silas. She was also preceded in death by her best friend Tami Havens.
