Out with the old and in with the new!
There’s less than four months until the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic! There are many renovations happening now at Thornberry Creek to prepare for the LPGA Classic. Want an exclusive behind the scenes look at what changes are being done in the upcoming months? Check out the video and see for yourself!
What’s new?
A lot has changed at Thornberry Creek in preparation for the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic. The parking lot has been renovated to create an additional 150 spots for parking. With this new addition, there will be over 400 parking spots on site. The practice facility also underwent a major expansion. Chief Operating Officer of Thornberry Creek at Oneida, Josh Doxtator, said it’s “the finest practice facility that you will have in the region.” All of the upgrades and renovations that have been done will not only impact the LPGA, but ultimately will provide an additional revenue source for many years to come.
A bar has been added to the upstairs of Thornberry Creek, which means there will be two bars and a large seating area upstairs during the LPGA Classic. There is also an elevator that is being added to the upstairs, which will bring patrons to the lower level of the building. The lower level of Thornberry is being totally transformed. There are new locker rooms, showers, a sports bar with large televisions and much more!
All of these renovations will be done in just four short months. OTIE is working hard to create a luxury golf course, and the community should be looking forward to the forthcoming changes. Continue to check the blog for more updates coming this spring.
