Gonzales, Elias Ubaldo
Elias Ubaldo Gonzales, age 2 months, of Oneida, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 with his loving family at his side. He fell sick to cancer unknowingly and unexpectedly. This precious baby son of Gabriel Gonzales and Maria Metoxen was born November 21, 2016.
Elias was too precious for this world and the Lord called him home to be at his side. His family will miss his chubby little cheeks, his soft smile and that adorable look in his big eyes. The family fondly remembers his healthy appetite and the grunts and lip smacking sounds he made to let the world know he was hungry. His stay on the earth was much too short and his life is so deeply missed. The memory of Elias Ubaldo Gonzales will live on through his family.
Baby Elias leaves behind his loving dad and mom, Gabriel Gonzales and Maria Metoxen; sister, Delianna Gonzales; his maternal grandma, Trina (José) Villegas; paternal grandma, Sondra Gonzales; maternal great-grandparents, Steve and Florence Petri; maternal great-grandpa, Eugene “Yogi” Metoxen; paternal great-grandparents, Charles and Joyce Willingham; numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Ubaldo Ceniceros-Casteñeda and his great-uncle, Tim Metoxen.
Visitation will be held at ONEIDA UNITED METHODIST CHURCH (N6037 Cty Rd. E, De Pere, WI), Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 10 to 11:45 AM. A funeral ceremony will follow at 12 NOON with Pastor Ann Bullis officiating. Interment will be in Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds.
