(Oneida, WI) – The Oneida Nation will host Big Apple Fest on September 19, 2015 from 10 am to 4 pm. The free event will be held at two sites, the Oneida Cultural Heritage Property (3703 Hillcrest Dr.) and the Oneida Apple Orchard (3976 W. Mason St.).
Each site will have events ranging from horse drawn wagon rides, pick your own apples, apple cider tasting, farmers market, games, farm animals, life size Oneida longhouse, live music and a special appearance by Koko, the One Trick Mule. There also will be a best apple pie contest. The winner will receive $250. A convenient trolley will be available to transport attendees from each site and from parking areas.
