Victor E. Doxtator, 75, of Seymour, began his journey to the Spirit World on Sunday evening, April 8, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital with family by his side. He was born July 19, 1942, son of the late Clifford Sr. and Melinda (Doxtator) Doxtator.
Victor’s passions were hunting, fishing, and gambling.
He is survived by his siblings: Clarissa (Stanley) Alexander, Marilyn Danforth, Ruth Ann Miller, and Gloria Doxtator; special niece, Elaine Reed; sisters-in-law, Christine “Babe” Doxtator, Donna Doxtator, and Mary Jane Doxtator; many other nieces and nephews.
Victor is preceded in death by four brothers: Clifford Doxtator, Jr., Donald, Roman, and Allen Doxtator; two sisters: Rachael Reed and Pat Doxtator.
Friends may call at Oneida Longhouse, W370 Reformatory Road, Oneida, on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 4:00 pm, continuing throughout the night. Traditional Longhouse Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Longhouse with Bob Brown officiating.
