Louise Ruth Harding, 84, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 at her home in Weyerhaeuser.

Louise was born May 12, 1932 in Oneida; a daughter of Elias and Louisa Skenandore. She married Joseph Skenandore and later divorced. Out of this union two children were born, David Robert and Joyce Ellen. They are both deceased.

On Oct. 4, 1954, she married Charles Evart Harding in Waukegan, Ill. In this loving union they had eight children. She was a very loving wife, mother grandmother and great-grandmother. She was always there for anyone who needed help financially, emotionally or just to talk socially. She made sure that her children were brought up with good morals and saw to it that they were passed on to their families. Mom was a God-fearing woman, and we are sure she is walking with our Lord and Savior and is in no more pain.

She is survived by her children, Margaret Hatch of Silver Springs, Fla., Anita Harding of Ladysmith, Elvena Cromey and her special friend Joe Amick of Ladysmith, Darlene (Dragon “Mike”) Zivanovich  of Silver Springs, Fla.      Michael Harding of Dallas and Warren (Sandy) Harding of Weyerhaeuser; nine grandchildren;  13 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Dixon Skenandore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, who passed away on June 27, 1990; her son, Charles Harding; her daughter, Juelene Harding; her granddaughter, Rebecca O’Neill; her five brothers and six sisters, Henry, Chauncey, Thomas, DeGuy , Hanson, Nancy, Elvira, Angeline, Jeanetta, Jane and Adeline; and her sons-in-law, Don Hatch and Russell Cromey.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 22, at  Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Ladysmith with Rev. Bert Schultz officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m.  until service time.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery
