The 44th annual Oneida Powwow was held July 1-3 on the Norbert Hill Center Powwow grounds. A sacred eagle release took place to kick off the three day event which saw the gathering of people from all over Indian Country who came together to celebrate their respective Indigenous cultures in song and dance. Numerous vendors were also on hand to share various products such as clothing, jewelry and traditional –and some not so traditional- food.
