The Oneida Business Committee has met and after consulting with Emergency Management and Oneida Law Enforcement it has been decided to postpone the Annual General Tribal Council meeting for Monday, January 20th at the Oneida Hotel. The approved rescheduled date is March 16, 2025.
The safety and well-being of our members are our highest priorities, and the decision was made after thorough consideration.
The memo attached here, which is on page 11 of the annual meeting’s packet, addresses how severe weather may impact the Annual General Tribal Council meeting.
Although an official weather alert from the National Weather Service has not yet been issued, the forecast strongly indicates dangerously low temperatures and potential safety risks for travel and outdoor exposure. Action was taken proactively to ensure everyone has adequate time to adjust their plans and stay safe.
