We are thrilled to express our gratitude to the Oneida Language Department and Language Nest for their generous donation of two Oneida Language Learning Kits to the Oneida Libraries. Their support has been invaluable in our learning journey. At the Oneida Community Library, we host a vibrant Oneida Language Study Club where both staff and community members come together to delve into the rich world of Oneida language and culture.
Despite not having a dedicated language teacher on-site, we’ve been empowered by the incredible materials provided by the Oneida Language Department/Language Nest and the ANA Language program. For those looking to dive deeper into Oneida sounds and pronunciation, we highly recommend checking out this helpful YouTube video. It’s been a fantastic resource for many of us here at the library. We love incorporating various Oneida Language videos from YouTube and materials from the ANA Language program and the Oneida Language Department/Language Nest into our self-learning sessions. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, there’s something for everyone!
