Take a moment to celebrate, honor and remember our Oneida Nation Code Talkers on Friday, Oneida Nation Code Talkers Day. During WWII many Native Americans used their native language to create a code that the enemy could not conquer. Our Oneida warriors spoke with one another using the Oneida Language to deliver messages and our language, used as code, could never be broken, thereby saving our troops and protecting our nation. These Veteran Warriors were the most honorable and loyal soldiers in our history. Many of our Oneida men took this act of heroism to their graves and never revealed the secrecy of the code to anyone. Salute, remember and honor our heroic Oneida Warriors Code Talkers.
