The Radisson Hotel & Conference Center played host to the Oneida Community Health Center’s Diabetes Event on Wednesday evening. The 19th annual installment of the event saw several health care providers as well as numerous Oneida Nation departments participate in the highly popular educational gathering. Approximately 450 people attended the sold out event which was emceed by the Oneida Community Health Center’s Dr. Michael Flood. The event also featured educational booths, a panel discussion with three current diabetic patients, a delicious health-conscious meal and a humorous yet highly motivational speech by Hidatsa tribal member Chance Lee Rush.
